Templates
Ready-to-use templates for running IBP meetings and tracking the decisions that come out of them. These are starting points, not rigid prescriptions — adapt the agendas, checklists, and timing to fit your organization's context and maturity level.
#
How to use these templates
- Pick the meeting you're preparing for.
- Review the pre-meeting checklist — if you can't check most items, the meeting isn't ready to run.
- Follow the agenda structure for your first few cycles, then adjust based on what works.
- Capture the outputs — every meeting should produce a decision log and action items.
All templates assume a monthly IBP cadence. If your organization runs a different cycle, adjust the timing accordingly. See Planning Horizons for how the monthly IBP calendar works.

The IBP meeting sequence
These three meetings follow a deliberate sequence within each monthly cycle:
Week 1: Data refresh & statistical forecast
Week 2: Demand Review → consensus demand plan
Week 3: Supply Review → proposed supply plan + gap identification
Week 4: Executive IBP / MBR → approved operating plan + decisions
Each meeting builds on the outputs of the previous one. The demand plan feeds the supply review; supply gaps and financial reconciliation feed the executive meeting. Skipping a step — or running them out of order — undermines the entire process.
For more on the process flow, see Management Business Review and Governance & Decision Rights.
